A weekly session of preschool phonics fun to support your little one on their literary journey.
Each week we learn a different sound within our phonics classes, exploring it through a range of games and activities to capture your child's interest. As our sound knowledge grows we introduce blending and segmenting, which form the foundations of early reading and writing. We also focus on the importance of rhyme and how this can help with speech and language development. Throughout the sessions your child will develop confidence and build relationships.
The whole session is delivered through energetic, exciting activities, featuring our lovable mascot Robot Reg. They are also designed to develop gross and fine motor strength, and social and communication skills. The children will learn so much without even realising and you and your child can spend quality focused time enjoying it together.
These sessions are planned and delivered by a former Early Years teacher, so are written with the Early Years Objectives in mind. They are an excellent start for children helping them to learn, enjoy language and ulitmately prepare them for school.
