Book Review: Harley the Hound

Harley Hound, by Chris Jones

We were very excited to be chosen to review ‘Harley Hound’, written by Chris Jones and illustrated by Becca Wain, which we have had great fun reading. It is a lovely rhyming story all about Harley the basset hound who one day can do all the things she has always wanted to be able to do. The story ends with a great moral that it is best to always be yourself. If your child loves dogs as much as my youngest daughter does, I’m sure they will love this story. Her favourite character was Lucy the chihuahua! Both of my daughters would give this book 5 stars as they really enjoyed reading it and loved the wonderful illustrations.
