Book Review: Pink! by Lynne Rickards, worth £6.99

Review:

Pink is a lovely book about a little penguin who suddenly changes so that he no longer looks like a ‘normal’ penguin. He struggles to adapt to his new appearance and goes on an adventure to find similarities. He begins to realise that being different is a good thing and he becomes comfortable with his appearance. He returns home and his friends are waiting for him. This was a lovely way to discuss similarities and differences in appearance with my two small children and that we should embrace differences and also how boring life would be if everyone was exactly the same! I like the fact it touches on boys liking the colour pink too and that it’s ok!
