Book Review: The Wonders of Winderly Wood

The Wonders of Winderly Wood by Danielle & Brooke Corrigan

The first thing that struck me about this book were the colourful illustrations. To be honest, my 3 year old son was more interested in looking at and discussing them than reading the story! We loved the themes of imagination and storytelling in The Wonders of Winderly Wood but I think it was lost a little on my son. Perhaps a few more read throughs would make this beautiful book a family favourite but I would recommend it to slightly older children.
