Review: CONNETIX 24 PC Rainbow Motion Pack, worth £45

I'm absolutely thrilled to be chosen to review the Connetix Rainbow Motion Pack. My daughter may be a little young for this still but under supervision she absolutely loves these! It's one of the few things that will actually keep her engaged and occupied for a decent amount of time.

The Connetix were very well packaged in a sturdy box which is great to store them in when not being used in comparison to a lot of packaging for these kinds of things. It came with two vehicle bases which came be interlinked which featured real rubber wheels which are a great additional feature. With the bases, came with a variety of tiles, all made from wipe clean plastics, - 12 square tiles, 8 rectangles and 2 window/door tiles, and a booklet with ideas for 2D and 3D designs.

This is a very versatile activity for children as they can build 3D shapes and structures easily without the need for securing each edge. 2D designs and pictures can also be made using these tiles. There was even some inspiration for creating flower presses with the window/door squares which I think is a great alternative use for them. One down fall i'd say with these tiles is that while the magnets do make it very easy for little hands to build shapes, it can be quite difficult to build vertically as the edges aren't always uniform and can therefore make the balance of it out.

Ultimately, for someone like my daughter who loves to build, pushing anything with wheels along, loves colours and even the rattling sounds the individual tiles make, this is definitely a huge yes from me!
