Review: Woburn Safari Park
Review by Lou Holmes @ Toddle About HQ.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful day at Woburn Safari Park today, and it’s safe to say it was a roaring success (pun fully intended!), from the moment we drove through the gates, excitement was in the air.
We started with the Road Safari, which instantly transported us into an animal adventure. Rolling slowly past rhinos grazing, lions lounging in the sun, and cheeky monkeys wandering around and occasionally jumping on the cars, making the kids squeal with delight. One of the highlights was seeing the giraffes (one of my favourite animals) up close, they were truly magical.
After the drive-through was finished, we explored the Foot Safari. There was so much to see and do, from watching the sea lions in their pool and many of the different demonstrations to meeting the friendly goats in the farmyard and getting up close to the Wallabies and Lemurs, which were a big hit with our little ones.
We made the most of the adventure playgrounds, which are perfect for letting off steam between animal encounters and had lots of fun on the swan pedalo boats and the train ride, which were all included in the price of your ticket. There’s plenty of space to enjoy a picnic, but there is also different cafés to get food from.
What really stood out was how family-friendly the park is. The staff were all helpful and welcoming and all of the facilities were nice and clean. We were lucky enough for the weather to be beautiful and sunny, but if the weather isn't great, there is some indoor play options to enjoy and escape the rain on wet weather days.
By the end of the day, we were all happily tired, with cameras full of photos and hearts full of memories. Woburn Safari Park is a fantastic day out for families with children of all ages — a chance to get up close to incredible animals, have fun, and learn together. We’ll definitely be back!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ - An unforgettable adventure and day out for the whole family.
